B88 Reference Subwoofer


The B88-Reference is a compact mono subwoofer designed to enhance the bass performance of the Reference series and third-party monitors.

With its integrated digital signal processing and two power amplifiers, this subwoofer takes your existing audio system to the next level. The two 250W PWM power amplifiers work in conjunction with two high-performance eight-inch chassis, providing a controlled and powerful reproduction of deep bass frequencies. Say goodbye to unwanted roar or pumping and enjoy stress-free, detailed sound.

The B88-Reference features two XLR outputs for connecting satellite monitors, delivering a suitably softened signal above 80Hz. The built-in digital signal processor ensures a linear frequency response, while internal filters allow for fine-tuning to match your room and application. You can even adjust the delay directly on the amplifier to compensate for any spatial offset between the B88-Reference and the satellites.

Thanks to its specially designed high-performance chassis housed in a flow-optimized steel enclosure, the B88-Reference produces an extremely controlled and „dry“ bass signal, free from typical ventilation noises.

Whether you need a mono subbass extension or a third way for your stereo sound setup, the B88-Reference has got you covered. It also excels in transmitting the LFE channel in 5.1 or other 3D audio configurations. Plus, with the optional KSD remote, you can easily make adjustments to gain, phase/delay, and six parametric EQs, giving you complete control over your audio experience.
